Polystichum tsussimense, commonly known as Korean Rock Fern is a resilient evergreen which would be a great addition to your garden. This fern boasts glossy dark green lance shaped fronds that form a neat and compact mound and will grow to half a meter both in height and spread. This thrives in partial to full shade and well draining, moist soil. Korean Rock Fern requires little maintenance making it an excellent choice for low effort gardening. Ensure consistent soil moisture without overwatering and consider mulching to retain moisture. Removing spent fronds can keep it looking tidy. Polystichum tsussimense is a perfect choice for shaded borders, woodland landscape areas or as a ground cover in challenging, low light areas in your outdoor space.
