The Adianturn padatum is also known as the Northern Maidenhair Fern and is a delicate addition to any shaded garden or landscape. This hardy fern thrives in well drained moist soil in full shade and will grow up to 50cm in both height and width. Adequate humidity is important, this makes it a great choice to have as a terrariums, near water features or even dark shaded woodland gardens. This perennial has distinctive fan apple-green shaped fronds held on sleek ebony stems that will complement any outdoor space.
