Product Details
This particular variety of Sorbus aucuparia has a slim, upright shape with branches that reach upward. Its compact size gives it a more polished appearance compared to the wild type, which tends to be more sprawling. Just like its counterpart, it boasts vibrant orange-red fruits that cluster together, ripening a bit earlier in the season, typically from July to November (or whenever the birds decide to help themselves!).
Similar to the native species, this variant flourishes in acidic soil, although it can manage in well-drained soil of any type. However, it won't thrive for long in shallow soil atop chalk. Its neat, rounded canopy makes it ideal for formal settings like small-scale avenues, urban streets, or cosy gardens.
