Physocarpus opulifolius 'Magic Ball' is a compact deciduous shrub that packs a punch in your garden. Its dark purple foliage and compact growth habit make it an attractive choice for smaller spaces. To ensure its well being, plant it in well draining soil and provide full sun to partial shade. 'Magic Ball' requires minimal maintenance, with pruning in late winter or early spring to maintain its shape. This variety is generally pest and disease resistant, making it an excellent choice for hassle free landscaping. Keep the soil consistently moist through regular watering and mulching.
